We would like to thank all of our sponsors for sharing in and supporting our vision of creating a fun, family event to be enjoyed by all ages, while benefiting some wonderful charities and community programs.
The following is criteria for participating in the Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Race Festival:
To be considered as a Non-Profit Event Participant/Recipient of Event Net Proceeds:
An organization must be a Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation. An organization must have a place of business within the City of Manhattan Beach and/or provide programs and services to the residents of the City of Manhattan Beach in one or more of the following areas: a) Supporting the Manhattan Beach Unified School District with an emphasis on science, fitness, and creative arts 2) Supporting families with developmentally impaired or delayed child or , 3) Supporting teens and families in crisis including counseling for drug awareness, drug abuse/addition, physical or emotional abuse and similar needs, or 4) preserving the environment and resources. All fundraising at the event will be conducted by organizations meeting these criteria through the offering of entertaining and/or educational paid activities, snack sales, merchandise sales, raffles, and auctions.
To be considered as a For-Profit Participant/Sponsor of the event:
An organization must have a place of business within the City of Manhattan Beach and/or provide products or services to the residents of the City of Manhattan Beach.
The Manhattan Beach Pumpkin Race Organizing Committee will evaluate requests and will make the final determination on all Non-Profit and For-Profit event participants.
