Here are the complete Pumpkin Race rules:
We want everyone to have fun creating their Pumpkin RaceCars! So, to keep things fair for all, please read the rules below.
- Craft your RaceCar using a single carved pumpkin.
- Insert two independent axels through your pumpkin and attach wheels to the axels.
- Anti-Stealth Rule: You cannot strap your pumpkin onto a chassis of any kind (skateboard, stroller, Tonka truck, etc., etc…)
- NO EXPLOSIVES or really dangerous pyrotechnics.
- You must fill out a Race Entry Form to enter the race. Forms are available online here, and on race day in Pumpkin Pit Row.
- NO CHEATING! Your racer must conform to these rules or your pumpkin just might be puréed.
